Privacy Policy
Политика конфиденциальности
This site is a single static page. It has no accounts, no forms, no newsletter and no analytics. Almost nothing about you reaches me — but “almost nothing” is not “nothing”, and this page says exactly what the difference is.
Who is responsible
Garri Gilmanov, an individual, operates garrigilmanov.click and decides how the data described below is handled. For data-protection purposes that makes me the controller. You can reach me at garrigilmanov@gmail.com.
What the site itself collects
Nothing that you type, because there is nowhere to type. The pages are plain files served by a web server, and that server keeps a standard access log. Every request — a page, a font, a script — adds one line containing:
- your IP address;
- the date and time of the request;
- the address requested and the page you arrived from, if any;
- your browser’s user-agent string.
These logs exist to keep the site running and to notice abuse — the legal basis is my legitimate interest in operating and securing it (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are stored on a virtual server rented from OVH, rotated automatically, and kept for roughly two weeks before being deleted. They are not analysed to build a picture of you, not combined with anything else, and not shared with anyone.
The site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser.
Advertising: Google AdSense
The site carries Google AdSense. Google, and the ad-technology vendors it works with, may set cookies or read similar identifiers in your browser in order to serve ads, measure them, and — where you have agreed to it — personalise them based on your previous visits to this and other sites. In doing so Google acts as an independent controller under its own terms, not on my instructions.
Google’s handling of that data is described in its policy for partner sites and its privacy policy. This may involve transferring data outside your country, including to the United States.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland
Before any advertising cookie is set, you will be shown a consent message built with Google’s certified consent-management platform, with an equally available option to refuse. Ads will still appear if you refuse; they will simply be non-personalised. You can reopen the message and change your answer at any time via the link the banner leaves on the page.
Turning personalisation off anywhere
- myadcenter.google.com — Google’s own ad settings;
- optout.aboutads.info — industry opt-out, United States;
- youronlinechoices.eu — industry opt-out, Europe.
Fonts and other third parties
Fonts, scripts and styles are served from this domain rather than from a CDN, so loading the page does not, by itself, announce your visit to anyone else. The AdSense script above is the only third-party resource the site requests.
Your rights
Under the GDPR and comparable laws you may ask for access to your personal data, its correction or erasure, a restriction on how it is used, a copy in portable form, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to garrigilmanov@gmail.com and I will answer within one month.
One honest caveat: a bare IP address in a log file usually cannot be traced back to a person without further information I do not hold, so requests about log data may be impossible for me to fulfil in practice (Article 11 GDPR). Requests about the data Google holds should go to Google, which is best placed to act on them.
If you believe your data has been handled improperly, you can complain to your national data-protection authority.
Children
The site is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. There is no mailing list to notify, so the page itself is the record.
